DESCRIPTION: The bread is very soft and fluffy. The tangzhong method keeps the texture tender and slightly stretchy, so the bread pulls apart easily rather than crumbling. It tastes mildly sweet from the honey with a light richness from the milk, butter, and egg. It’s most similar to Japanese milk bread but slightly less rich than a brioche bread.
